Performance Company

is a collective of dancers ages 6-20 who show extreme passion for dance and aspire to have a career in dance. These dancers have the option to train extensively in either classical dance - ballet and pointe - or commercial dance - contemporary, modern, jazz, lyrical, tap, hip hop. Most of our dancers take both of these tracks and become extremely versatile, well-rounded dancers. We provide a wide variety of technique and style classes throughout the week, including choreography sessions where the dancers work fervently on pieces which are presented at competitions regionally and nationally, as well as charitable benefit shows.

  • 4 Regional Competitions
  • 2 National Competitions
  • 2 Conventions
  • Holocaust Survivors Benefit Show
  • HALO for Autism Benefit Show
  • OC Fair
  • Festival of Children
  • Collaboration Shows with Boogiezone Utopia

What is truly special about our Performance Company is how we develop each dancer to be not only a remarkable, multifaceted performer, but also an active member of the dance community. These dancers graduate from our program with a deep understanding of the art form and a network of inspiring artists, like themselves.

What you should know: ADC Performance Company is an audition based dance program for the dedicated dancer looking to train at a pre-professional level and have multiple performance opportunities. Company Members must be able to commit an expected level of training usually requiring a minimum number of hours per week based on age and company level (see below) as well as participate in the mandatory summer Ballet Intensive. Additional obligations include participating in a short season of dance competitions and performances.
